I turn green from it but who cares? It's so lovely and oooo that gorgeous patina it gets! Hope you're enjoying your new medium!

CindyCindy Gimbronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15625146240609776265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14543068.post-11609235632996709322009-07-09T10:13:56.310-04:002009-07-09T10:13:56.310-04:00Hi Tish,

I had to really work at getting the knots just right with the Lucky Knots and Lampwork necklaces. But the good news is, once you get the knots just right, it'll be a breeze after that. Hope you put up some of your knotted pieces on your blog!

CindyCindy Gimbronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15625146240609776265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14543068.post-54897772085730278492009-07-09T10:12:27.754-04:002009-07-09T10:12:27.754-04:00Hi Erin,

It's just a way to develop my skills and see what happens.rosebud101https://www.blogger.com/profile/04266675372008597168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14543068.post-6588810920271533462009-07-08T19:29:19.112-04:002009-07-08T19:29:19.112-04:00I had no idea there was bronze metal clay - how aw...I had no idea there was bronze metal clay - how awesome. i must put this on my list.

I have been playing around with hemp - trying to do some knot work in between beads. not very successful as of yet, but i will keep tryin!Just A Tishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02578636973521801307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14543068.post-22978147933354543782009-07-08T14:08:51.711-04:002009-07-08T14:08:51.711-04:00I took a class in silver clay at the Bead & Bu...I took a class in silver clay at the Bead & Button. It was fun, and I am glad I had an expert teacher to guide me! I never did manage to finish the piece...the class should have been much longer. And I am not set up to torch fire and tumble...so maybe someday it will be complete! I enjoyed it and can see so many possibilities. I can't wait to see the finished pieces you are showing...will you be selling them? Enjoy the day! I've had some luck and some disasters. As far as I can see it's a pretty precise firing schedule. Cheers, LeAnnSummersStudiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10250150360701388415noreply@blogger.com
