Fish Eyes, Comments and Running on Empty....

Fun photos from The Teen's new obsession, a FishEye lens on his Holga camera. I took this picture of him at the Chicago Public Library when we went to see John Green. THAT was a cool space, an atrium with a glass roof and lots of light.

I'm behind with commenting to my readers. Sorry, All! I'll get to your comments and write some new posts today. I can handle the sign language interpreting schedule along with creating but when I add taxi-mom to the equation, I find it hard to juggle all the balls at the same time. This morning, The Bean Counter announced he'd had it with work and he was resigning this week. YikeS! I'm glad he wants to move on and I support it but give me more notice! I've offered to take on the breadwinner role but I'd like to be able to transition a bit better. Oh well, it will work out.

I'm feeling like I'm running on empty but it will be nothing compared to when I take over the breadwinner role - so I have Jackson Browne in my head this morning. If you listen, you will too!

I like the teen's new obsession with the fish eye pics...very cool. Thanks for the Jackson Brown to start the morning, too. I hope the Bean Counter gets some relief by this change in job situations-- the actual accounting part may be something he loves, but I can tell that dealing with all the people, on top of figuring out the books, is what adds all the stress.

P.S. As for you and the comments to comments, chicka, we all understand that real life has its ebb and flow! Just know that when I leave a comment, it's a "hello" and "thinking about ya" and "thinking about what ya said today", all rolled up into one :) You are gonna be one even busier woman than you already are!

That fish eye lens is really neat! You take care of yourself, Cindy, but remember, we are all here to support each other. Hang in there!

Cindy, your creative mind, hands and spirit will always shine through and you'll be fine, I believe.

Cindy - I tried to comment on this last night as soon as it went up - but blogger managed to lose the post for me - darn techo glitches!!! Now, of course I have a classic case of CRS, when it comes to what I said (well it was just after 1.00am here).

I love the teens new obsession! It reminds me of years ago having fun with an old Minolta SLR & a fisheye lens. I hope to see many more of his results - they are fabulous so far :o)

I to am thinking of you - I know what a huge adjustment it can be when a sudden change in jobs is thrust upon a spouse.

My 'P.S.' is exactly what Ang said - just because I know she always say's it so much better than I ever could!

Hi Angela,

I love the fisheye pix too. The "roundedness" of the pictures is a fascinating effect.

TBC had second thoughts when he got home - seems it was a particularly bad business trip. He's going to leave soon but with a little bit more planning.

thanks for the well wishes!
