Now that I have Twilight on the brain, I've created another necklace along the theme of dark romance, this one is in part inspired by The Raven's famous words on lost love.
The 1.5 inch square fused glass pendant is hand stamped with enamels and then a black glass heart is fused over it. I routered the edge so I could wire wrap the bail. It's suspended from a gunmetal chain I bought at the Rings n Things Bead Tour.
Nevermore is in my Art Fire shop.

it is perfect!
I had an idea the other day that used The Raven and other Poe tales as inspiration. As of now they're just interesting ideas, as I still need to sit down and get them out of my head (a really scary place sometimes). It's really interesting how people can have the same inspiration and come up with such totally different ideas.

That is awesome Cindy! I am supposed to be working on a pair of Twilight themed earrings, but I haven't read the books nor seen the movie...that never stops me from saying yes! I am enjoying your take on it all since it is inpsiring my own vampire-ways to resurface (I was a big fan of Anne Rice in another lifetime). Thanks for sharing. I love it! Enjoy the day! Erin
That is so cool! And one of my favorite poems, too!
Oh, how I like the Raven. Just time for Halloween and the Twilight second movie. Love them!
Very nice, Cindy!
Poe is my favorite! You could get lots of inspiration from him, Cindy :-
