The Empress Models a Statement

You may remember I blogged about The Empress in April. I thought she'd make a good model for the necklaces I design. A picture taken of a necklace flat makes it lifeless and it's difficult to get a good sense of how it will hang. Sort of like this:

The colors are true yet the spirit of the necklace is lost. So enter The Empress:

She brings the necklace to life. You can see how it will hang. It seems clear an additional picture taken on the Empress will show a potential customer how a necklace will look when worn.

What do you think? Has the Empress made a statement?

LOVE HER!! & the Necklace! Very beautiful together. May I ask where you found her? She's kind of steampunkish.

The Empress is very chic and so is your necklace. Love it. And this Statement Necklace idea is such fun.

Not only has the Empress made a statement, but so has your necklace.
The empress would look great in my JCrew sweater, jeans and your necklace.

Much better than just laying it flat I agree, but to me the spaces between each panel are distracting...so maybe giving the Empress a nice neutral colored shirt or blouse would help.

Yes, most definitely, the Empress DOES make a statement..."Cindy's necklace looks simply FABULOUS on the Empress" - Kudos to you for scoring such a terrific photo prop...AND for making such a lovely necklace!

Lovely!! I'll have to keep a lookout for an empress of my own.

Oh yes, she sure makes a statement! Your Empress is wonderful...I'd love to find a vintage dress form one day (that is within my budget!). And I just love your mulit-layered statement necklace...I would wear it in a heartbeat! :-)

I have a wicker bust that I use sometimes. I agree, everything looks better when it's worn!

You are inspiring me to go flea market shopping and see what lovely I can find to model my jewelry. I have not been able to find a live model without goose neck due to my generation of friends who like me are deep in menopause and such!! LOL
