Jewelry Icons: Silent Super Star Gloria Swanson
Super silent star Gloria Swanson is still big "it's the pictures that got small" but her jewelry was always superstar quality. Below are just a few wonderful pictures appearing courtesy of Silentladies.com.
I love Art Noveau and the jewelry of the silent movie stars epitomize the era. Some stars were photographed more often and with jewelry, others weren't. There are alot of pictures of Gloria Swanson so I think there was more opportunity to see her jewelry. I love the black and white photography in addition to the jewelry!
