Boro Done Bad!

So after the Klown fiasco of yesterday, I decided to pick up the boro to play with. I like boro for sculpture and want to do more than clear. But but but boro is different than soft glass and you have to work it differently in the flame. It can take some getting used to and newbies will get "haze" and creams from everything.

Voila!

Haze and cream!

Arghhhhh - tomorrow, it's back to soft glass!

I love what you did with that haze and cream! It's a gorgeous heart!

Um, Cindy, if you want to send me that bead, I will 'heart' it in its deluxe creamy state!

I like the heart link, and I'm too boro-ignorant to know that you aren't supposed to have that mellow looking haze and cream :)

I will agree that boro sculpts completely differently than soft glass, though. Even with my big girl torch cranked up, boro doesn't have the nice, smooth flow that soft glass gets!

I think it's beautiful! It doesn't look like it's a "newbie boro bead" to me... although I'm not a glass worker.

You've done a good job, even if it might not be up to your standards. (:

Must be my eye's - I can't see anything wrong with it!

Perhaps you should send itr to me for closer inspection ;o)

It's lovely Cindy - it may not have done what you wanted it to - but WE didn't know that until you told us - lol!
