Skullz n Klownz???

Ok, so I was at the torch working on a skull bead. I thought skullz with wingz would be cool so I thought I'd try.

I shaped a skull head and added eye sockets, nose and a smile like on the Skully Kidz then added red "wings."

Huh?

My winged skully looks more like Bozo the Clown than a bad a$$ skull with wings!

The other two attempts still didn't come out the way I envisioned.

Arghhhh...it's back to the torch!

Cindy, you made me laugh so hard, my sides hurt! You're right, clowns can be SCARY - LOL

Haha! I think they'd be great in a creepy clown necklace.

I'm not the glass artist, and you've probably already figured this out, but I think you need to give the wings a more distinct shape for it to come out easier... something a big smaller that comes out from around the jaw and up, which might make the bead more breakable, but would probably make the wing less... clown-hair-y.

Thanks, Rosebud! :-)

Lynn - Klownz out of control!!! LOL! I don't know how many people remember Bozo but there he was on my mandrel!

Amanda - thanks for the helpful critique. I need some feedback with these, I'm not reaching what I want. The Teen made some good suggestions too so I'll use both yours and his when I return to the torch to work on these.

Thanks for reading and commenting!
