More experiments with the faux boro beads. This time the beads were made with an opague or pastel base and then the stringer laid over top of that and encased in clear. Someone on the boards had suggested that using a pastel base made the beads brighter and I agree. If you've been reading regularly, I've been experimenting with this faux boro technique for a few weeks. I don't know what it says about my personality but I really like to go through most all of the possible combinations of a bead before I move on to another techique. I like to explore the technique fully. I like to understand everything about the process. It will come in handy later.
